Mike Davenport graduated from the University Of Salford, Manchester, England with a BSc in Physiotherapy in June 2009 and eight months later emigrated to Toronto, Canada. There, along With his wife, Ashlee Linteau, they co-founded Inspire Health and Fitness. With a 15 year career in personal training, group fitness, injury prevention and sports rehabilitation, Mike has an impressive breadth of knowledge and experience dealing with elite sports athletes to elderly complex care physiotherapy patients.
Mike has worked extensively over the last 15 years to better and improve his knowledge of sports injury and strength and conditioning practices to further serve his clients and patients and has attended countless Continued Professional Development courses, workshops and seminars over the years.
Mike completed the Ontario Internationally Educated Physiotherapist Bridging Program out of the University of Toronto and is licensed to practice Physiotherapy in Ontario. He plans on developing his education with a Masters in exercise science, acupuncture and postural rehabilitation.
Mike has a background in English Professional Soccer and a natural passion for exercise, health and fitness, which is evident in his personality and energy: useful tools for working with clients and patients all hours of the day and for chasing his two young sons around.
When he’s not in the clinic or gym with patients and clients, you’ll find him spending time with his family, working on his own fitness, pounding the pavements on a 10km run or indulging in his other passion…Starbucks coffee!
